Caribbean Business Council
The Caribbean Business Council (CBC) is an initiative of the Haitian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (HCCJ) dedicated to strengthening commercial, institutional and cultural relations between Japan and the wider Caribbean.
The Council is built upon a trusted network of business leaders, government contacts, public institutions, universities, cultural organizations and other strategic partners across the Caribbean who share HCCJ's commitment to fostering international cooperation and creating meaningful opportunities between Japan and the region.
While the Caribbean is widely recognized for its breathtaking beaches and vibrant tourism industry, it is also home to diverse and dynamic economies. Each country possesses its own unique strengths, industries and investment potential—from advanced biotechnology and healthcare to manufacturing, logistics, energy, agribusiness, financial services, education and the creative industries.
Through the Caribbean Business Council, HCCJ helps Japanese businesses, investors, academic institutions, associations and public organizations identify opportunities, build trusted relationships and connect with the right partners throughout the region.
We invite you to explore each of the country pages below to discover the unique characteristics and business potential of The Bahamas, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago.
Should your organization wish to explore opportunities or establish connections in any of these countries, HCCJ would be pleased to facilitate introductions and support your engagement through our trusted regional network.
